Today we are reminded of the true gate keeper. While on a recent vacation, I was able to witness a sheep dog herding the sheep into their pen. The dog listened to the calls and whistles of his keeper and even had to go away from the herd to redirect a lost sheep. We were told that the dog only listens to the one voice of his master. It was remarkable to witness. He was distant, far from his keeper…

Read it 3 times: the first in silence, the second aloud and the third in silence. Spend a few moments after each time and allow it to penetrate your heart. Today, we are called to accept Jesus into our lives and submit to the will of God.
