Today we are reminded that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. That we cannot come to the Father except through Him.
What is the Way? Each of us is on own personal journey. We might encounter roadblocks or switchbacks or detours. Today is the day to look past those and see only the true Way – Jesus.
What is the Truth? He is risen! Alleluia! He lives within me and desires only to bring me home at the end of my journey. In Him I find peace, love, forgiveness and life everlasting. Today is the day to spend one hour with Him as a family, putting aside all the electronics in our lives!
What is the Life? It is the life dedicated and devoted to service. To be reconciled with my brother and sister. To stand before my God and say, I am your child and I am loved by you. At the end of this day, bring yourself before God in prayer. Close your eyes, quiet your heart and listen. Allow His peace to penetrate deep into your heart.
