Easter Joy For All

My beloved brothers & sisters,

Happy Easter! Jesus Christ is Risen – Alleluia!

Easter morning dawns not only as a remembrance, but as a living invitation. In the preaching of St. Peter, we hear a truth that reshapes the world: God shows no partiality. The Resurrection of Jesus Christ breaks every barrier we have built—between peoples, cultures, and even within our own hearts. The Risen Lord is not for a select few, but for all. This is the joy and the challenge of Easter: to see others not as outsiders, but as beloved recipients of God’s mercy.

The Psalmist proclaims, “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad.” Easter is that day—when rejection becomes victory, when the stone cast aside becomes the cornerstone. In our own lives, the places of failure, grief, or doubt can, through Christ, become places of new life. God’s power transforms what the world dismisses into something glorious.

St. Paul reminds us that we are already raised with Jesus Christ. Our lives are now “hidden with Christ in God.” This means that our identity is no longer defined by past sins or worldly measures of success, but by our belonging to Him. Yet this new life calls for response: to clear out the “old leaven” of sin and live in sincerity and truth. Easter is not only a celebration—it is a conversion.

In the garden, Mary Magdalene weeps, searching for the Lord Jesus. When Jesus calls her by name, everything changes. Her sorrow turns to mission: “I have seen the Lord!” This personal encounter is at the heart of our faith. Jesus Christ calls each of us by name, especially in moments of confusion or grief, and sends us forth with hope. As Easter people, we are sent into the world—to witness, to include, to forgive, and to rejoice. Jesus Christ is Risen! Our lives must proclaim it. Alleluia!

May this Easter season renew your spirit and bring you closer to God’s love. Amen

God Loves You!
