Today we are called out of darkness; to use light and truth as our guide to find the dwelling place of God.
All we have to do is believe in Jesus. It seems we are all living in some kind of dark place right now. We are missing our families, friends, our once-lived freer lifestyle, our church community and the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
Tonight, before your family goes to bed, light one candle for each family member in your home, place them in a central location and turn off all the lights. Wait for one minute in silence and then pray the Lord’s Prayer, recalling Jesus’ promise – I have come into the world as light, to prevent anyone who believes in me from staying in the dark anymore.
