Today we are asked: Why are you persecuting me? What does it mean to persecute Jesus? We are invited to a personal friendship with Jesus and allow Him to remove the blinders that cover our eyes, our heart. Today is a good day to do some soul cleaning. Perhaps spend some time reading through an Examination of Conscience. Do I love my God? Do I love my neighbour? How have I fallen away from Love?

Today we are called to seek and understand. Today is a good day to open your Bible. Open to the Book of Isaiah and find one passage that speaks to your heart. Read it 3 times: the first in silence, the second aloud and the third in silence. Spend a few moments after each time and allow it to penetrate your heart. Invite Jesus to be your guide and your interpreter. Did you encounter Him?

Today, we are called to accept Jesus into our lives and submit to the will of God. How do I know what that is?  Today is a good day to remember that I am a child of God.  As we spend every day in a routine that has developed, perhaps take a step outside of the routine.
