Today, I am called to believe in Jesus and to carry out God’s work.
Is that asking too much of me? God sent his Son to me. Jesus has called me to a personal relationship and has opened the gates of heaven so I can remain forever in God’s house.
Today is a good day to give something to those who are in need. Perhaps buy some groceries at IGA and give them to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul – they have a donation bin there – they also have pre-packaged donation bags. Perhaps make an online donation to your favourite charity. Perhaps call someone and ask if they need anything done for them – groceries, their lawn cut, their weeds pulled, or just your time to talk. At the end of your day today add to your prayer, “Jesus, I believe in you, Jesus, in you I trust”.
