Back on June 25th, we also posted an FAQ originated from the Diocese of Edmonton regarding Residential Schools. Below are the live links to what is referenced in Bishop’s letter, if it is helpful. St. Thérèse of Lisieux First Holy Communion Experience

Here St. Thérèse of Lisieux, the Little Flower, tells of the experience of her First Holy Communion which took place on 8th May 1884. At last the most wonderful day of my life arrived, and I can remember every tiny detail of those heavenly hours: my joyous waking up at dawn, the tender, reverent kisses of the mistresses and older girls, the room where we dressed — filled with the white “snowflakes” in which one after another we were clothed…

Work of Love

During this pandemic, when we are not praying, we’ve been busy doing works of love. Our parishes have sent about 80 bicycles to the children in Nigeria. Some were given to individual families, some to the orphanage, some to block Rosary children and some to parishes. The children are so happy. Some haven’t ridden bicycles before. What a joy for them and their families. In some of the videos, you could hear them praying for our parishes for being a…

Hoping for Reopening Soon

We are looking forward with hope that our Churches will be open for our Easter celebrations, and have been working hard to prepare. We may not hear from Dr. Henry until very close to Easter regarding the limits that will be put in place for indoor gatherings. We invite everyone to pay close attention to any new protocols established by the Provincial Health Officer. Please pay attention to our announcements on our Website, Facebook page and emails that we will…
