The Holy Trinity: Our Faith, Our Life
My beloved sisters & brothers, Have a blessed Trinity Sunday! The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity invites us to contemplate the deepest mystery of our faith: one God in three Divine Persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Although the word “Trinity” does not appear in Sacred Scripture, the reality of the Triune God is revealed throughout salvation history and fully made known in Jesus Christ. Every time we make the Sign of the Cross, pray the “Glory Be,”…
Renewed by the Spirit
My dear sisters & brothers, Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ! As we celebrate Pentecost Sunday, the “Birthday of the Church,” we give thanks to God for the gift of the Holy Spirit poured out upon the Apostles and upon each one of us. Pentecost marks the conclusion of the Easter season, yet it is also the beginning of the Church’s mission to proclaim the Good News to all nations. The same Spirit that transformed the Apostles continues to guide,…
Oases on the Journey
My dear friends, On this beautiful Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord, we are lifted by the hope and promise of Christ’s Eternal Kingdom. As Jesus ascended to the Father, the disciples were reminded that their mission was not ending, but beginning. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, they were called to become witnesses “to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). The Ascension is therefore not a farewell, but a sending forth. Jesus remains with His Church, leading us…
Guided by the Spirit
My brothers and sisters, Praise to you Lord, Jesus Christ! As we celebrate the Sixth Sunday of Easter, the Scriptures invite us to reflect on the presence of the Holy Spirit who strengthens, renews, and unites the Church. In the Acts of the Apostles we hear of Philip bringing the Gospel to Samaria, where many experienced healing, conversion, and “great joy.” The Apostles, Peter and John, then lay hands upon the newly baptized so they may receive the Holy Spirit.…
Hearts at Peace
My dear beloved sisters and brothers, Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ! This week I am in Cranbrook, BC for the CWL Diocesan Convention. I humbly ask for your prayers—for all the women of our diocese, that they may grow ever closer to Jesus and continue to serve Him faithfully in His people. Your prayers strengthen not only their mission, but the whole Church. Our Gospel (John 14: 1-12) this Sunday speaks gently but powerfully into the realities of our…
Known, Loved, and Called
Dear sisters and brothers in Christ, Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ—our Good Shepherd! On this the Fourth Sunday of Easter, the Church invites us to contemplate one of the most tender and powerful images of Jesus: the Good Shepherd. This image, rooted deeply in Scripture, reveals a God who knows us personally, calls us by name, protects us, and ultimately lays down His life for us. This is not a distant or abstract love—it is intimate, faithful, and sacrificial.…
Hearts Aflame, Sent to Witness
My dear sisters and brothers in Christ, On this Third Sunday of Easter, the Gospel invites us to walk with the two disciples on the road to Emmaus. They were discouraged and confused, yet the Risen Jesus drew near, explained the Scriptures, and was finally recognized in the breaking of the bread. Their hearts burned within them, and their despair turned into joy and mission. This same Risen Christ continues to walk with us, enlighten us, and reveal Himself—especially in…
Believe & Receive Mercy
My dear friends, Happy Divine Mercy Sunday! Divine Mercy Sunday is a deeply meaningful feast in the Catholic Church, centered on God’s boundless mercy and forgiveness for all people. This Sunday, we are invited to step into the radiant heart of the Risen Jesus, where fear is met not with judgment but with peace. The Gospel of John shows the disciples hiding behind locked doors, yet Jesus enters anyway, speaking the words their souls most needed: Peace. So too in…
Easter Joy For All
My beloved brothers & sisters, Happy Easter! Jesus Christ is Risen – Alleluia! Easter morning dawns not only as a remembrance, but as a living invitation. In the preaching of St. Peter, we hear a truth that reshapes the world: God shows no partiality. The Resurrection of Jesus Christ breaks every barrier we have built—between peoples, cultures, and even within our own hearts. The Risen Lord is not for a select few, but for all. This is the joy and…
From Hosanna to the Cross
My dear brothers and sisters, Praise to You Lord Jesus Christ! Palm Sunday often brings back simple yet powerful memories. I recall how palms were carefully woven into beautiful shapes—crosses, doves, signs of faith—and then placed in our homes, doors, and even our cars. These were not merely decorations; they were reminders that Jesus Christ must be at the center of our lives. Today, we begin Holy Week with two striking moments. First, the joyful entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem.…
