The theme of this retreat is “Living for Greatness”. Society tells us that the purpose of life is to get a good job, start a family, make lots of money, and be happy. But what happens once we achieve that? Is that true greatness? God has a plan for each of us… How do we hear Him, and how do we have the strength to follow?
NET Ministries will be running two retreats in February. One for our Junior Youth and one for our Senior Youth. The costs associated with this retreat, including all food, will be generously covered by our parishes and their affiliated groups.
The Junior Youth retreat (Grade 6-9) will run Friday, February 17th from 5:30 – 10pm and Saturday, February 18th from 9am – 3pm @ St. Ann’s Church, Penticton
The Senior Youth retreat (Grade 9-12) will run Saturday, February 18th 5:30 – 10pm and Sunday, February 19th, 8:30 – 2:30 (Including 9am mass) @ St. John Vianney Parish, Penticton
*Grade 9 students can choose whether they want to experience this retreat with the younger or older group
This retreat will be a powerful step in our youth finding their identities and finding Christ. I recommend this experience to all our youth of all faiths.
