Just like yesterday, summer has come and gone. The fire and smoke we experienced did not allow us to enjoy summer as we would have loved to. Nevertheless, we still give thanks to God for summer: for the time of rest and the opportunity to visit with family and friends. With summer over and cooler weather returning, does it mean I’m not allowed to still enjoy some ice-cream?
I wish everyone a happy Labour Day weekend. Safe travels to all traveling and for anyone visiting our parish/city this weekend, may you have a blessed and a pleasant visit.
We welcome our teachers and students back to school. May the new school year be a grace-filled one for them.
Our parish life will be back in full swing again with catechism, RCIA and all other ministries. Our catechism program this year will be slightly different. We are excited to reveal what it will look like. Stay tuned for details in the coming weeks. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will bless and guide us in our planning and preparations.
