Some Lenten Questions As We Journey together towards God.

  1. Pope Francis in his 2021 Lenten message said: “Every Christian today is living in new times and we all are witnesses of the new things God is doing, for He is really making all things new.”
    • What are the new things God is doing in your life today?
    • What new thing do I want Him to do for us (Church, Family, World).
  2. How can I deepen my friendship with Jesus today?
  3. The early Christians expressed great love for one another and were united in prayer in a time of persecution.
    • How can we remain united in love and prayer at this time?
    • In what ways can we lift each other up and reach out to loved ones/parishioners who might be in need?
  4. It is said that out of difficult experience, great things emerge.
    • Have you noticed any great thing emerge during this time?
  5. How can today’s trial be an opportunity for a future pearl?
  6. How can we go to God together this lent?
  7. The devil said: ‘I’ll fight to close the Churches. And Jesus said, I’ll bring the Church to their living rooms.’ How can I live this Lent in such a way that it becomes the best Lent? Are there devotions that have helped you in the past? Could they be renewed this Lent?

  9. How has COVID-19 enriched your soul?
  10. After a long time of Eucharistic fast, what does receiving Communion mean for you today?
  11. Are there things we have forgotten which Jesus can help us rediscover this Lent?

  13. Are there dreams that have been interrupted which we want to pick up again?
  14. Are there parts of you that need new life? Jesus, if you choose, You can make me well.
  15. Jacob wrestled with God and prevailed. God broke his hips but left him a changed man with a new heart. What are you wrestling with today? Have you brought it to Jesus? Can there be a blessing in the brokenness you are undergoing?
