PLEASE NOTE: With the Public Health Orders announced on December 7, 2020, we are no longer permitted to gather for in-person Mass in the church. Instead, on December 24/25, we will have one drive-in Mass in the St. Ann’s parking lot, be live streaming 2 Masses and hosting drive-thru Holy Communion at both parishes. In addition, on December 19, we will live stream a reconciliation service followed by confessions. Confessions will also be available on December 21.
Our Christmas schedule is as follows:
Reconciliation Service and Confessions
- Live stream Reconciliation Celebration on Dec 19 at SJV: 9am – 9:30.
- Individual Confession (SJV): 9:30 – Noon.
- Individual Confession (SA): 1pm – 3pm; 4pm – 6pm.
- Individual Confessions will continue on Monday December 21
- SJV: 10am- noon
- SA: 1pm – 3pm; 4pm – 6pm.
When you arrive, remain in your car until you are invited to come into the Church. Confessional will be sanitized after each Confession. We have enough priests to celebrate and hear Confessions.
Christmas Mass and Holy Communion
Christmas Eve – December 24, 2020
- Drive-in, outdoor Mass in the St. Ann’s Parking lot at 3pm. This event is limited to 50 vehicles. Registration details below.

We strongly encourage pre-registering for the drive-in parking lot Mass or any of the Holy Communion times. This ensures we can adhere to the Public Health Order limits on vehicle counts as well as ensure we do not create too much vehicle congestion in the laneways and streets.
Christmas Drive-In Parking Lot Mass or Holy Communion registrations can be done in the following ways:
- We will be taking the previous Christmas Mass registrations and using that to assign Holy Communion times. The resulting registrations will be communicated soon – hopefully early in the week of December 21st.

- Self-serve online in our registration system.
New Year’s Mass and Holy Communion
New Year’s Eve – December 31, 2020
- Live stream New Year’s Eve Mass @ 5:00pm
- Holy Communion in St. Ann’s Parking Lot right after Mass (~6:00pm). Registration is NOT required.
New Year’s Day – January 1, 2021
- Live stream New Year’s Day Mass @ 9:00am
- Holy Communion in St. Ann’s Parking Lot and St. John Vianney laneway right after Mass (~10:00am). Registration is NOT required.
Procedure for Receiving Holy Communion in Your Vehicle
When you receive Holy Communion in your vehicle, you are asked to remain in it and to wear a mask if your car window is open, except when consuming the Blessed Sacrament. Please put your vehicle in Park before reaching out your hands to receive Holy Communion.
