They do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world.
JN 17:16
I love this beautiful world. I love to experience it through the eyes of my family and friends, locals and by traveling beyond the borders and experiencing its people, its culture, its food, its history and its natural beauty. In it, I see God’s creation and presence. On every journey I take, I do all I can to ensure I am able to attend Mass and receive the graces of the Mass and Jesus through Holy Eucharist. I’ve celebrated Mass in Greek, Japanese, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, for God is present in this world. One of the most unusual places I have celebrated Mass was on a cruise ship in a bar, yet even there, Jesus is present as promised, “where two or three gather in my name..”
Yet, today I am reminded that I do not belong here. I am led by the Spirit to my true home – Heaven, to dwell with God in the room that he has prepared for me.
You are loved, you are wanted, you are welcomed. God is calling you home through every day that you travel while here on earth.
