On this Thanksgiving weekend, taking a line from St. Paul, I simply want to say to you my dear parishioners: “I always thank God for you.” (I Corinthians 1:4).
It has been one year since we started our journey together. At Thanksgiving, the time of the year when we give thanks for all of our blessings, I just want you to know how grateful I am that our paths crossed, that God brought us together. I am grateful to you for giving me the opportunity to serve in the Catholic Parishes of Penticton; I am grateful for the gift that you are to me, and for the gift that we are to one another.
Wishing you and your families a blessed Thanksgiving!
I almost forgot – I was reminded recently of what Penticton means: ‘A place to live forever.’ Thank you, Lord for this beautiful place we call home!
