Canadian Food for Children (CFFC) is an interdenominational non governmental organization working to relieve the suffering of the poor in over two dozen developing countries worldwide. We do so by shipping non-perishable items: food, clothing, school and medical supplies, soaps, shampoos, tools, etc to our central warehouse in Mississauga, Ontario where it is loaded on ships and sent to third world countries for distribution by our partners on the ground in 20+ impoverished nations worldwide.
We operate on gracious donations from groups and individuals and we strive to spend the funds wisely. 100% of the donations received are put towards this cause. CFFC is a 100% volunteer organization.
Currently, we at the Okanagan branch, sort and pack 30,000 lbs of new and used items every two months. In addition, we ship the equivalent of 100 barrels of dried foods donated by the Okanagan Gleaners.
