With the recommendation of the Diocesan Clergy Personnel Committee, I am pleased to make the following Pastoral Appointments to be effective on July 20, 2020.
- Fr. Luan Vu is appointed pastor of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Revelstoke and Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Nakusp.
- Fr. Cecil Nunez is returning to his home Diocese of Legazpi, Philippines, as he has completed his contract in the Diocese of Nelson.
Effective August 1, 2020:
- Fr. Salomon Beguel is appointed Associate Pastor of St. Pius X Parish in Kelowna and St. Edward Parish in Lake Country.
- Fr. Paul John Irumba is appointed Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in Grand Forks, Sacred Heart Parish in Greenwood and Our Lady of the Lake Mission Parish in Christina Lake.
- Fr. James Ratcliffe will continue his retirement in Kelowna area.
Other Appointments:
- Fr. John Kellogg will no longer be in residence at Canadian Martyrs Parish in Invermere, effective July 6, 2020.
- Fr. Salomon Beguel is appointed Chaplain of Immaculata Regional High School, effective August 1, 2020.
