Lenten Retreat

Deacon Dale would like to invite your to our Lenten Retreat. There will be 3 opportunities to attend.

On Thursday, March 19th at St. Ann’s, there are 2 times to choose from: 10am (after Mass) or 6pm (evening).

On Tuesday, March 24th at St. John Vianney, you can attend at 5:30pm (evening).

This retreat will be about an hour and will focus on the holy Mass as seen through the book of Revelation.

Lenten Reconciliation Service

Our Lenten Reconciliation Service will be held at St. John Vianney Parish at 6:00pm on Thursday, March 12, 2026.

If you are unable to attend the evening service, there will also be a service at 12 noon that day at St. Ann’s, but it is primarily for the school students. Other parishioners can expect to receive reconciliation after the students somewhere around 1:00pm or later.

Holy Week & Triduum

March 30 – Monday of Holy Week

  • Chrism Mass
    • Everyone is invited to this year’s annual Chrism Mass which will be held on Monday, March 30 at 7pm at Immaculate Conception Parish in Kelowna.
    • Couples celebrating special wedding anniversaries (20, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50,years, and longer) are invited to join the clergy for dinner. To attend you must register by March 15. To do so, please contact the parish office.

April 2 – Holy Thursday

  • No morning Mass
  • Mass of the Lord’s Supper – St. Ann’s @ 7:00pm – live streamed
  • Altar of Repose – St. Ann’s after Mass (~8:30pm)

April 3 – Good Friday

Divine Mercy

The Divine Mercy Novena begins on Good Friday and ends on the Saturday before Divine Mercy Sunday.

  1. April 3 – Good Friday – After Stations of the Cross, approximately 30 minutes before the Solemn Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion (11:30am @ St. Ann’s, 2:30pm @ St. John Vianney)
  2. April 4 – Holy Saturday – At 3:00pm in St. Ann’s
  3. April 5 – Easter Sunday – 30 minutes before all Masses
  4. April 6 – Easter Monday – 45 minutes before Mass – this is an additional Mass
  5. April 7 – Easter Tuesday – 45 minutes before Mass
  6. April 8 – Easter Wednesday – 45 minutes before Mass
  7. April 9 – Easter Thursday – 45 minutes before Mass
  8. April 10 – Easter Friday – 45 minutes before Mass
  9. April 11 – Easter Saturday – at 4:00pm – 1 hour before the 5:00pm Sunday Mass at St. Ann’s

On Divine Mercy Sunday special prayers will be said before the Prayers of the Faithful.

During the Lent & Easter season, these regular Mass times will continue with the following exceptions:

  • Wednesday, February 18th – the regular 9:00am Mass at St. John Vianney is cancelled due to special Ash Wednesday Masses
  • Thursday, April 2 – the regular 9:00am Mass at St. Ann’s is cancelled for Holy Thursday
  • Friday, April 3 – the regular 9:00am Mass at St. Ann’s is cancelled for Good Friday
  • Saturday, April 4 – the regular 5:00pm Mass at St. Ann’s is cancelled for Holy Saturday
  • Monday, April 6 – a Mass is being added for 9:00am at St. John Vianney
