The Spiritual Adoption Program is very simple. Participants pledge to pray daily for nine months for a baby who is in danger of abortion. While this baby will remain unknown to you, many people have found that naming their “spiritually adopted child” helps them to keep focused on the reality that their prayers are helping to save a baby (and the mother) from the harm of abortion. All of the babies’ names will be recorded in our Spiritual Adoption Registry Book.
We pray to Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Patroness of the Unborn, to help bring an end to the human sacrifice of God’s children through abortion and to convert non-believers.
Each year our program begins sometime in October and ends 9 months later. Watch the bulletin and for presentations at Sunday Mass for when the program will begin in a given year.

What is the Spiritual Adoption Program?

Will I know who the baby is?
No. This is a spiritual adoption. You agree to pray for a baby and mother, and God lines you up with a baby. Only God knows who you are praying for. It helps to give your baby a name to make it more personal.
